Mode of Selection: Based on Written Test and Interview

Written Exam: 175 Marks

Interview
1 Personality and bearing - 5 Marks
2 General Knowledge - 5 Marks
3 Capacity to express ideas in subject - 10 Marks
4 Bar Experience (or) Teaching Experience - 5 Marks
Total Marks - 25 Marks

Examination Fee: Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/SCA/ ST and Differently Abled candidates)

Educational Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Law in the relevant subject for which application is made of any recognised University with not less than 55 percent marks and a good academic record and Must have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited Test.
Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, as amended 2016 (3rd Amendment) shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET or an accredited Test. AND
iii Must have enrolled as an advocate in the Bar council, Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to persons who have actual experience at the Bar or teaching experience
