RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF WATCHMAN IN MAHARASHTRA REGION
(STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND GOA) 

The Food Corporation of India (FCI), established under Food Corporation Act, 1964 (Act No. 37 of 1964), one of the largest Public Sector Undertaking, dealing with food grain supply-chain management, invites applications for the direct recruitment of Watchmen for positioning in its offices and depots in States of Maharashtra and Goa. Only ONLINE APPLICATIONS are invited from eligible candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications, age etc. as per the details indicated below :

Name of the Post: Watchmen

Number of Vacancies: 187 Posts

Reservation: SC-18, ST-16, OBC-50, UR-103

Scale of Pay: Rs.8100-18070/-

Age Limit: as on 01.07.2017 - 18-25 years ( Age relaxation shall be as per GOI rules)

Qualification: 8th Standard Pass

Mode of Selection: Based on Written Test and  followed by Physical Endurance Test (PET)

How to Apply: Interested candidates should apply Online Only through the Official Website only.

Subject: The written test shall be held in (Trilingual (Hindi, English and Regional languages (Marathi (for State of Maharashtra) and Konkani (for State of Goa))) except General English. (Candidate has to choose language for written test while applying) ) language in the Offline mode (Objective type). The said test shall be of 2 hours duration and shall have 100 Objective type questions with Multiple Choice Answers. The subject wise weightage of question papers are as given

below:-

• General Knowledge - 25%
• Current Affairs - 25%
• Mathematics - 25%
• English Language & Grammar - 25%

Physical Endurance Test for Male and Female Candidates

For Male Candidates

• Running- 1000 Meter in 05 minutes 30 seconds
• Long Jump- 4.000 Meter
• High Jump- 1.35 Meter

For Female Candidates

• Running- 800 Meter in 05 minutes
• Long Jump- 3.000 Meter
• High Jump- 1.00 Mete
