Name of the Post: Assistant Library and Information Officer

Age Limit: Not Exceeding 56 years
Scale of Pay: Rs.Pay Level- 7 (Rs. 44900- 142400) of the Pay Matrix [Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600, in pre-revised scale of pay]

Mode of Recruitment: Deputation / Including Short Term Contract basis
Educational Qualification:
(i) Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognised University or Institute.
(ii) Two years’ professional experience in a Library under Central or State Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertaking or University or Recognised Research Institute or Educational Institute.
Desirable:
(i) Master’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognised University or Institute.
(ii) Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognised University or Institute.
