Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd., a power generating and distributing organization of Government of Punjab is looking for the recruitment of Assistant Lineman from the candidates who have completed 2 years Apprenticeship in the trade of Lineman. Preference will be given to those candidates who have done 2 yeats apprenticeship in PSPCL / PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB. If above candidates are not available, the other candidates having 2 year apprenticeship in the trade of lineman from any other state/BBMB etc will be considered.

Vacancy Details

Name of the post: Assistant Lineman

No. of Posts: 1500

Scale of Pay: Rs.6400-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.3400/-

Reservation: UR-750, SC/Mazbi/Balmiki-188, SC/others-187, BC-180, Ex-Serviceman/DXSM-105, PwD-45, Sports Person-30, Freedom Fighter-15.

Educational Qualification: 

i). Matriculation.

ii). 2 Years National Apprenticeship Certificate in Linernan -l'rade

iii). The candidates who possess higher education i.e. Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be considered only if they have minimum qualifications i.e. National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.

Knowledge of Punjabi: All the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level till the date of Document checking.

Age Limit: 18-37 years as on 01.01.2017.

Age Relexation: Should be followed by Govt. Norms.
