Qualifications: 

1. Must possess B.E. (Civil or Highways) or B.Arch. degree of Associate member of the Institution of Engineers (India) in the Civil branch or
2. Must possess Post Licentiate Diploma in Town and Country Planning,awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or
3. Must possess L.C.E. or D.C.E. or D. Arch. or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government and must have experience in Town and Country Planning work for a period of not less than two years.

Age limit: as on 01.07.2014.

1. OC 18 – 30 years
2. BC/BC(M)/MBC– 18 - 32 years
3. SC/ST- 18 – 35 years
